Nick Walker is currently struggling with grief and his thoughts on the afterlife as the death of his son Ali has caused his marriage and life to spiral out of control.

Spiraling is Martin Films third short film and the second to incorporate mental health “demons” into the storyline, the idea behind this film is that while death is inevitable in life, everyone has their own version of the afterlife, and it’s not a matter of right or wrong is what you find comfort in and brings you peace in the end.

Spiraling was released in May 2021 A whole month after “The David McDonald Report” and it received a positive reception upon release.
